Matt was born and raised in the Lakes Region. Like many in this area, he did not grow up attending church. Matt came to faith in Jesus Christ at the age of 25 while living in Phoenix, AZ. Matt served as a contemporary worship leader in several Phoenix churches, and he soon sensed a call to pastoral ministry. In 2014, Matt returned to his native New Hampshire in order to serve God in the place he loves to call home.
Matt has a B.A. in Religion and Applied Ethics from Arizona State University and a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary. In his spare time, Matt most enjoys being with his true love, Sara, and their son, Nathaniel.
If you have anything you’d like to discuss with Matt, please feel free to email him or call the church office directly at 603-934-0230.
Hannah moved to Northfield, NH when she was 15 years old to live with her Uncle and Aunt. They welcomed her with open arms and became her surrogate parents. Although they were believers in Christ Hannah did not follow in their beliefs. It wasn't until her grandmother got cancer, and passed away in 2007, did Hannah start to seek the truth.
In 2008, Hannah started going to church and soon after was baptized and became a member of The Baptist Church of Franklin. Hannah now serves in many capacities within the church, as the Trustee and most recently the Financial Coordinator. She attends bible studies and loves her daily morning studies with the Lord.
Hannah has an Associates in Accounting. Worked for the Department of Revenue Administration for 18 years, which she left in 2015 to pursue a career as a Personal Trainer. In addition, she works part-time in the church office.
Hannah and her husband Garrett love all things having to do with fitness (running, biking, hiking, weight training etc.) Hannah loves art (any type) and reading novels.
They both have two amazing daughters, Kailea (who serves in the Army) and Brittany (who is a mother to a little boy).
Amanda grew up in New Hampton on her family farm. She went to church every Sunday. Amanda was in the local 4-H group up until she was 12 years of age when her father passed away. She drifted away from the Lord and it wasn't until she met Pastor Matt and the amazing people at The Baptist Church of Franklin that she returned to church and found her faith again. Amanda was baptized by Pastor Matt and became a member in May of 2018.
Amanda loves to spend time with her family. She has two amazing daughters Mackenzie and Hayley and her loving soulmate George.
Amanda and her family love to take family walks, play games and just enjoy each others company. Family is everything to Amanda.
